NWT, NOS, Dead Stock

Just got a beautiful brand new dress from the 60s! It is simply amazing to hold a 40 year old dress that has made it into your hands without ever being worn. Nuts, huh?

I listed the dress as sand colored with aqua and coral stripes.

I guess I'm still stuck in an oceanic state of mind. Last night. my first work in the new year was to create a treasury. I chose the theme of the Beatles song: An Octopus' Garden.

There are many stellar sellers that I included. I think it looks good enough for the FP of etsy.

In other etsy news, the gorgeous 60s cocktail ring sold in just a few days. My friend Kyle bought it and has mighty big plans for it. Kyleannemetals is a wonderful store and she has so much talent! I have faith that once she works her magic, the results will be jaw-dropping.

Swingin' Sixties!

We just got in a bunch of items from the 60's. All of them are in great codition, and it may be a bit tough to part with some of the items. Tonight I just listed a gorgeous bling ring, and over the next few days there will be some towels, dresses, purses and shoes!

West Coast Vintage is a blog dedicated to the vintage lifestyle. It is also the name of an etsy store curated by myself (Christine) and my roommate, Melisa.

At the core of it, our fascination with vintage stems from a love of great craftsmanship and a way to reuse and revive items from the past. We also feel that stylistically speaking, vintage clothing is special. When something is over 40 years old and still remains intact, it becomes a one of a kind item. Its a treasure that lights up your closet.
